During my time at the Sussex Students' Union, I worked on a number of design, branding and social media projects, for student events such as Freshers' week, Student Elections, Student Awards and One World Week events.

Working with the events team at the Sussex Students' Union, I've created a colourful, playful branding for Freshers' week 2019 and 2020. As part of this, I created graphics, clips and GIFs for social media and the website, designed three Student Magazines, which were printed and distributed on campus and the Freshers' Fair at the American Express Stadium, and a goodie bag, which was also handed out to students during Freshers' week.

Throughout the year I created a number of designs for the Student Union's social media, website and print content, for various events, such as Freshers', One World Sussex (in collaboration with the University of Sussex), RAG (Raise & Give) week, Student Elections, and the annual Student Awards.
Sussex Student Awards 2021 - Branding and Social Media graphics
One of the biggest events of the year is the annual Student Awards ceremony. Due to Covid-19, the 2021 event was celebrated online. To ensure it still stands out and celebrates the student spirit, I created a bright, neon-coloured branding, combined with stars and bold text.
I created a number of templates for students to use and share and create hype for the event. The Awards ceremony was aired in collaboration with Native.fm, and I created an animated presentation for the night, highlighting all nominees and winners.
Sussex Student Elections 2021 - Branding Graphic Design, Social Media and Web Design
The Sussex Student Elections is the biggest democratic event at the Students' Union. Full-and Part-Time Officers are elected by students, to represent their needs and vice their concerns with University management.
I gathered input from student staff and created a bold, political brand campaign, using heavily edited photos and political motifs (stars, megaphones, fists...). I created social media templates, Instagram filters and GIFs, web banners, designed the election page and created manifesto guides.
